Alzheimer’s Association – The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. The association works on a global, national and local level to enhance care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Blueprints of Hope – Blueprints of Hope is a non-profit Oncology Nurse Navigation organization that provides services and resource information to individuals facing a cancer diagnosis, cancer survivors, their friends and family. They also provide resources for oncology and non-oncology care providers.

Durango Chamber of Commerce is a member based organization that promotes and supports the local business community. With more than 800 members, the Chamber acts as a resource of information for its members, the community, and relocation inquirers. It communicates business related issues and advocates on the behalf of its members. It also operates networking and educational programs all for the sake of building a stronger community and greater quality of life.

La Plata County Senior Services – La Plata County Senior Services is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all adults age 60 years or older and helping them age with dignity and purpose. Through information, advocacy and service, we are committed to building a healthier community for all senior residents. Centers are located in Durango, Bayfield, and Ignacio.

Mercy Regional Medical is an 82-bed, acute-care hospital in Durango, Colorado. We are Southwest Colorado’s largest and most technologically advanced medical facility. Healthgrades, a leading independent health care ratings company has recognized Mercy Regional Medical Center with the Outstanding Patient Experience Award 2015. Our areas of specialty include breast diagnostics, cancer care, emergency medicine, a level III trauma unit and radiology. As a non-profit hospital that is part of the Centura Health network, Mercy is committed to improving the health and wellness of the communities it serves in the Four Corners region.

Professional Associates – Today Professional Associates has grown to over 50 members and includes retired and practicing professionals across a broad range of disciplines—from education and the law to business and management, engineering, government, community service, economics and finance, and the arts and sciences.

San Juan Basin Health Department – San Juan Basin Health is a local public health agency serving all residents of Archuleta and La Plata counties. For over 60 years, San Juan Basin Health has improved the health and environment of the Southwest Colorado community. We are governed by a local Board of Health whose seven members are appointed by the County Commissioners of Archuleta and La Plata counties.

Seniors Outdoors! is an outdoor recreation and social club providing organized year-round outdoor activities and related educational opportunities to active adults age fifty or over. Members share an interest in exploring the Durango and Four Corners Region, staying healthy and physically fit, and meeting others with similar interests.

Teepa Snow – Teepa Snow is one of America’s leading educators on dementia. She encourages “a positive approach to brain change,” and her care techniques and training models are used by families and professionals around the world who are working or living with dementia or other brain changes.

Veterans’ Services of La Plata County  The Veterans’ Services Office provides information, support and guidance to veterans and their families so they can receive the maximum benefits for which they are eligible.
